In an attempt to eliminate the MASSIVE email string that ensued last year, I am trying the blog route this time. When your top seed doesn't cover the spread by one point and you "lose" to Morehead St., please let us know how you feel.
All I have to say is Illinois SUCKS! I think it should be mandatory that if your alma mater is in the tourney, you are awarded that team. Come on North Dakota State!
I must admit I picked WKU in my bracket. There are definitely two Illinois teams and you got the wrong one last night. But let's face it, Texas played Minnesota's best high school team last night. I don't think they will be your horse. Bet the house on Winsconsin in a straight up upset over Florida St. and then a spread upset and you steal Pitt. Consider the future predicted.
Almost there Eric. Wisconsin beat FSU and WILL probably beat Xavier outright tomorrow as well. You can almost taste Pitt right now. Like rundown post-apocalyptic steel mill.
Obviously I have become a huge Badger (and Husky) fan. I haven't looked to see how it could play out, but it's almost going to take straight up wins from here on out as the spreads tighten up. Especially once we reach the Sweet 16. I like my Horns chances to cover 7 against the Blue Devils. Even in Greensborough.
